He who Sows Winds will Reap in Whirlwinds: Part VII

"Ouch!" She looked out through the window, ducking and weaving to stay an elusive target to the marksman. "Oh yikes! It's the teacher this time. No easy way out of this one. Sadly." Kevin silently stepped on the gas. Ever since he'd met Jen, during the orientation for the Love and Literature in Roman Times grad school program, at the Aberdeen University, he'd know that there was something different about her. It had taken 2 years to break down her guard. Actually he hadn't really broken it down. He'd just helped her ummm loosen up with the aid of generous dollops of Tequila. Silver Patron. Her favourite. Bloody expensive it had been. The stuff she'd told him had completely freaked him out. But he had not grown up with the mob for nothing. Shit happened. People got born and didn't realise how the real world was until they were neck deep and sinking in a morass of sin and bloodshed. He had never judged her. And in return she didn't judge him. They knew each other's deepest secret though, and that created a very strong bond. The only reason he was in this car right now, trying to outrun a coldblooded murderer, one of the best marksmen in Scotland Yard, and the person who would send him on his way to the next world most likely. "Turn right", she ordered as she extracted various parts of her rifle from her layered clothing and assembled them. "Is that a good idea?" he asked, simply because the right turn would take them back towards the University where the cover of normal people millling around would be lost. " Turn right" she yelled. He yanked the wheel around in frustration. Stupid bitch. He hated the way she ordered him around, like she was the only one who knew anything. "Scorpion" Harrison was standing four square in the middle of the road, aiming a pistol at his head. "Look outt" he yelled as he stepped on the gas and barreled towards the man. He heard the whine of a bullet as it went past his head. He saw Jen turn around. She took careful aim (at least as careful as it was possible to be in a car that was swerving left and right erratically). She fired a shot. Harrison rushed towards the windshield, there was a thwack. He went under. The car jolted, and continued along the road. Kevin was shaken. He had to admit it. "Just keep driving", she said in a quieter voice. He was almost scared of her, for the first time since they had known each other.

He who Sows Winds will Reap in Whirlwinds: Part VI

"Untie me this second man, and then go and check if anyones outside. I have lots to tell you and if any one hears you and me are both history. Get it?" she said. "Wait! is this a trick? No? You sure? FINE! FINE" said the scorpion. He untied her (him) and walked towards the door, opened it and peeped outside....no one.......something made him wake up. "Oh my..." before he could finish he realised what a fool he was. The window was open. She, now that was definate was gone.
*****************************************************************************
"Fool! major fool! If only he knew the truth. He knows im not his BROTHER thats for sure but I got out of it." she said to the guy driving the car. "Kevin.....listen.....they didn't cathc me know but if-" she stopped short as he interrupted, "No ifs they WON'T!" he said. "But you can't be sure.....just listen suppose they do will you promise NOT to tell Mia till well you know when." He sighed "Alright but nothings going to happen to you"
"That's what you think.......quick turn left here" she said. "Jen.......tell me this......what ARE you going to do next?? I mean where are we going its all fine for you to say "I need your car, you gotta help" but WHAT EXACTLY's in your mind" Kevin was panting. She smiled "Trust me kev, I know what I'm doing." as she said that a bullet flew in throw the open window and grazed her arm.

He who Sows Winds will Reap in Whirlwinds: Part V

She looked up at him blankly. A trickle of blood dripped down her chin. Her lip was split. She started laughing. Hysterically. "I'm not a woman, you idiot! What did they do to you? Its the Teacher's handiwork I suppose. Don't you remember anything?" she ended on a genuinely enquiring note. Harrison stopped. It was true he couldn't remember much after waking up in a cellar a week back. The Teacher had been there when he awoke and told him all about his past, his present and his future. She continued, "I'm your twin brother, Robinson. Don't you recognise me? Seriously, what did they do to you back there?" He goggled. What was she (he?) saying? His twin brother?? "But..but your hair..." "Its a hair-transplant!! You know that! Don't you remember the plan?? I thought you were just waiting to get rid of the Teacher's thugs." A hair transplant? He didn't know what to say. Should he trust her (him?)? What if this was all one of the Teacher's tests? Before he knew it he found himself wrestled to the ground. She (he?) was on top of him and had his arms pinned behind his back. "Now, listen", she (he?) said.

He who Sows Winds will Reap in Whirlwinds: Part IV

"Yes? Do you have an appointment?" said the receptionist. So this has what this place has become he thought. Well........it WAS a fact that all 'teachers' follow proffesions like a dentist or a doctor. "uh...sir?" "yeah...........uh im an old friend of tea.. i mean Dr. Kurtx. Could you tell him a Harrison is here to see him?" Lame names he knew but he couldnt possibly tell her the scorpion was here to see the cobra. "You may go in now" she said.
"Ahhh.....what is it now you fool? CAN YOU NOT HANDLE A SILLY LITTLE GIRLL!"
"No teacher...it isnt that. It's just that she's sooo.....well different. she does'nt scream and cry"
"WEll then make her! You know what she does spoils our job completely! After all we are assasins. She warns our victims. I dont know why but I want her alive and i know we've got her so KEEP her till I get there! now get on those dumbheads may have aldready mudled up"
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Harrison a.k.a scorpion a.k.a he waled into the room. She was still there her back facing him. She was tied up reall tight he could see and she was squirming trying to escape. He faced her. She saw him stopped squirming n smiled, an evil smile. He gave her one slap and yelled "STOP SQUIRMING! YOU CAN"T ESCAPE. Now get this straight......I'm not going to treat all sweetly cos you're a woman. GOT THAT?"

He who Sows Winds will Reap in Whirlwinds: Part III

"Did you really think this was going to help? You're such a pathetic loser! A room full of low-lifes to catch one girl??!!", she almost giggled. He was furious. How could she look so cool. Did she not understand that she was surrounded by three men who were all bigger than her with another one pointing a gun at her kidneys? "Just don't make any hasty moves, and everything will be fine", he mumbled, feeling more nervous with every second. He should never have taken the Teacher's advice. There was no way he could win with this girl. She was dangerous. He could almost hear her mind racing, as she judged how best to get out of the situation. "Listen to yourself, you moron. "Just don't make any hasty moves"" she mimicked his underconfident mumble rather well, he had to admit. He glared at her. The other guys in the room were getting nervous too. He could hear them fidgeting. They were men of muscle, with nothing between their ears to impede their actions. Keeping them still for too long was disastrous. He nudged her forward with his gun. "Tie her up. In the chair. And make the ropes tight." The biggest one hulked forward. "What is she, a Houdini?" he snickered. "Was Houdini the chap who killed the president?" asked the smallest one. "I always thought it was a sort of beer", chimed in the third. "Really? Are you sure you aren't confusing it with Heineken?" she said. Apparently, she was having a wonderful time. You'd have thought she was having tea with her aunt! "Stop it! Stop talking to her!!" he screamed. All four turned to look at him. They seemed more puzzled than anything else. "I'm going out for a bit", he said, blushing in embarrassment, and edging towards the door. He closed it behind him, locked it, feeling their amusement coming at him in waves, right through the door. He had to talk to the Teacher. This was just not his sort of affair.
